  • Eliminates fatigue during labour, leaving mother calm, awake, and with energy for to birth her baby.
  • Eliminates the risk of hyperventilation from "shallow" breathing methods.
  • Faster postnatal recovery.

  • Calm, less fretful babies.

Will I be asleep or unconscious when giving birth using HypnoBirthing®?

  • NO.   You may experience a state that is similar to daydreaming.
  • You will be totally relaxed, comfortable, and happy to be experiencing the birth!
  • You will always be in control and no one will be able to make you do anything you would not want to do!

I'm not sure about this Hypnosis bit?

Hypnosis simply is a naturally induced state of relaxed concentration; a state of mind and body in which we communicate acceptable suggestions to our subconscious mind. This part of our mind influences what we think, how we feel, and the choices we make.  You will always be in control and aware of what is going on around you, but just deeply relaxed, safe and comfortable.

Is it right for me?
